Anon really thrives on different kinds of social media. Although we don't have a blog as such, we are active on Twitter and Facebook and we produce a number of poetry-related podcasts for various organisations.
Here's some questions you may have about Anon:
We contact everyone who submits but generally make our final decision once we have seen all submissions for an issue, so the length you wait really depends on when you submit. Due to financial constraints, we only publish when we can afford to. Anon receives no funding of any kind and is entirely dependent on sales and subcriptions to keep it going. So if you'd like to speed the process up a bit, do consider buying a copy of the magazine or taking out a subscription.
We are interested in publishing imaginative articles about poetry and issues related to poetry. We are exploring the possibility of reviews and are open to suggestions. Articles need not be submitted anonymously. Please send either the full article or a proposal.
Yes. These should be submitted anonymously as with ordinary submissions. When submitting translations please send the original as well as the translation / version.
Hmm. If you have managed to get to this page, I suspect you are not as unwebsavvy as you may think. However, our magazine thrives on new submissions and we can accommodate most reasonable requests. Please contact Anna at anonsubmissions@gmail.com to discuss this further.
